Head of Sales

Indigroup is an executive search company, whose quality of services is becoming a benchmark in Baltic states. Our client provides unique technical solutions for international B2B clients while continuously investing on R&D to keep the innovation level as high as possible. Located in Lithuania, company has an internal sales department in-house and sales representatives all over the world. To accelerate the international growth and continue to expand B2B sales, the company is looking for an energetic Head of Sales to boost their international sales and increase customer relationship level.

You will manage 3 teams with 14 people onboard. Your target customers will be mid-large European manufacturers and big distributors of complete products and components. The team you will be responsible for consists of experienced, motivated and self-confident sales managers and sales project managers.


You will work in more than 50 people in Lithuanian HQ

The Head of Sales is responsible for leading the future revenue growth of the company through the development and implementation of sales strategies for partner and market development. The Head of Sales will build company’s market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business sales relationships.

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Sales is responsible for the total sales performance of the Sales Managers and Sales Project Managers. The role will involve motivating and developing the team, managing their performance capabilities & targets, providing sales direction & leadership and building and maintaining an assertive sales culture whilst constantly developing improved selling capabilities to ensure we meet ambitious B2B customer acquisition targets and delivering the highest level of customer service together with a separate after-sales support team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Drive and energise the sales team: demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate and inspire a team.
  • Overall responsibility for building, managing and motivating an enthusiastic, customer-focused and target-driven sales team, through coaching, mentoring and product training.
  • Ensuring that the best people are in the right roles to achieve the objectives of the commercial strategy and ensure individuals are supported and developed to achieve their full potential.
  • Responsible for monitoring sales project managers activity and movements on a weekly basis by ensuring they are meeting all company sales metrics and goals to ensure that individual targets are being met.
  • Lead and schedule weekly and/or monthly team meetings with sales team.
  • Evaluate business opportunities presented by sales team.
  • Screen potential strategic business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities.

  • 5+ years’ experience in leading B2B sales teams and proven ability to deliver or overachieve on revenue targets (international sales experience would be a great advantage)
  • Proven ability to systematically develop, drive and close business opportunities in strategic level.
  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to drive maximum profitability.
  • Experience in maintaining customer relationships and proven customer retention techniques.
  • Experience with leading customer account growth.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a Sales team, instilling an effective Sales culture with high energy.
  • Strong leadership and sales performance management experience demonstrating growth.
  • Ability to develop relationships at senior levels and manage high value accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high level of passion and enthusiasm for the job.
  • Good written and spoken English.
